Woman Blinded in Right Eye After She Says Retractable Leash Broke

Daniella Abreu says she's blind in one eye after her dog's retractable leash broke. When her 60-pound Husky went after a rabbit, she says the leash snapped. "The handle just pulled out of my hand and just came back and wrapped around and literally snapped me in the eye," says the 24-year-old. She suffered a fracture underneath her eye and a retina detachment. Her eyelid also split open. The competitive dancer has lost all sight in her right eye and now wears a prosthetic eye
