German Company Makes Beer Made of Recycled Sewer Water

Would you drink beer made of sewage water? It’s not as gross as you’d think. Brewers in Germany are creating beer, while also helping the climate by recycling wastewater, according to KCBS.  The purification process is complex and is done in four stages. The end result is a delicious brew that fights water shortage and climate change. Once the water is treated, the good stuff—barley, hops and yeast—is added in and a beverage named “Reuse Brew” is born. Inside Edition Digital has more.
