Giant ‘Gundam’ Robot Undergoes Testing at Japanese Theme Park

The robots are coming! A Japanese theme park built this life size robot from “Gundam” to celebrate the anime’s 40th anniversary. The 59-foot-tall bot weighs 25 tons and, while it only moves in slow motion, a sped-up video shows what it can do: moving its hands and feet, even taking a knee. People are so mesmerized watching the mammoth creation go through its tests that this video already racked up more than six million views on Twitter.
