Harvey Weinstein’s Defense Rests Its Case Without His Testimony
February 11, 2020
The defense rested its case in the trial of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein did not take the stand to defend himself. The jury of seven men and five women will now have to deliberate without the benefit of hearing from the producer. As Weinstein left the courtroom today, he told reporters that he thinks his attorneys did an “amazing” job. Weinstein has been charged with five counts, two of rape, one of forcible sex and two of predatory sexual assault. He has pleaded not guilty.
