Haunting Sounds From Mars Sent Back by NASA Craft
NASA's InSight Lander sent back sounds of an otherworldly wind from Mars. InSight's seismometer and air pressure sensor detected the vibrations from the Martian wind earlier this month. The lander's sensors indicate the winds were blowing at speeds of 10 to 15 miles per hour. InSight landed on Mars in November. Since then, the unmanned craft has been sending back a steady stream of data from the planet.
