Hiker Recounts Being Kidnapped and Held Hostage for 6 Days

When professional rock climber Beth Rodden was 20 years old, she was kidnapped and held hostage in Kyrgyzstan. “It was a very harrowing time. I cried almost every hour that we were there. We were freezing and starving and just really terrified the whole time,” she tells Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps. Rodden has written about that ordeal and about her life in her autobiography, "A Light Through the Cracks.”
