Pulling himself using only a rope, Lai Chi-Wai climbed Hong Kong’s Nina Towers while in a wheelchair. He was a climber who’d suffered a spinal cord injury after an accident 10 years ago. "Apart from just living, I wondered what drives me? So I began to chase that, knowing that there was a possibility I could climb mountains, even in a wheelchair, that I could be a climber again, I found some direction in life knowing that I could do what I wanted in life," he told Reuters.
