How Misinformation in Film ‘Loose Change’ Fueled 9/11 Conspiracy Theories

The terrorist attacks of 9/11 provoked a wide range of responses, including at least one sophisticated piece of misinformation -- a viral internet documentary series called “Loose Change.” The films proposed a number of unproven and false conspiracy theories, including the suggestion that the U.S. government was behind the attacks. Journalist Jonathan Kay told Inside Edition Digital, “When ‘Loose Change’ came out, it was a game changer.”
