Every year in the United States, more than 30,000 people accidentally kill another person. Most of those deaths are due to car accidents. Chris Yaw knows that feeling. He says he accepts responsibility for causing his friend’s death after he installed a heavy garage door at his house on the cheap, that ended up crushing his friend to death. He now runs the non-profit Accidental Impacts, which offers resources and support to people who accidentally kill someone.
