This Vanilla Ice Cream Is Made From Plastic Waste

"Guilty Flavors" is an art installation that challenges people to think about our culinary future as well as the worsening problem of plastic pollution. It was created by Italian artist and designer Eleanora Ortolani, who says she was inspired by the dual crises of global hunger and pollution exacerbated by failing recycling systems. Despite increased recycling efforts, statistics show only 10% of plastic ever made has been recycled.
