For LGBTQ+ and other underserved communities, representation is vital. Jess Hall uses their position of power to represent and be a positive influence on their Wisconsin community. Jess is not only one of the nation’s first non-binary police chiefs, they are a role model for others. “I will do absolutely everything I possibly can do to at least provide a moment of safety and a moment of active listening,” they said.
