Liz Cheney’s Trump-Backed Opponent Leads Polls in Primary

Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney is fighting for her political life. Her former President Trump-backed opponent, Harriet Hageman, has a double-digit lead in the Wyoming Republican primary. Cheney has angered some GOP voters with her leading role on the Jan. 6 committee. However, her possible defeat might not be the end of her political career. She has not ruled out running in the 2024 presidential election.
