Brown Giant Pandas Seen for 1st Time in 6 Years
After six years in the shadows, a rare panda has been caught on camera in China. The slow stroll of what appears to be a mother and baby panda was seen on surveillance video in the Changqing National Nature Reserve. This rare breed, called the Qinling Giant Panda, is dark brown and light brown in color as opposed to the black and white pandas most people are used to seeing. Estimates say there are anywhere from 200 to 300 brown pandas in the wild.
