Owner of Giant, Venomous Centipede Lets It Crawl All Over Him
A Taiwanese man and his pet centipede are so close, he lets the critter crawl over him, even though it's venomous. Neil Cheng Le, 26, adopted the Peruvian giant centipede when she was much smaller, but she quickly outgrew other centipedes her age. Giant centipedes can grow to be a foot long, but this critter has stretched to more than 16 inches in length. A bite from this creature can cause intense pain, but Cheng Le says his friend has always been gentle and easy to handle.
