Pet Store Owner Injured in Fight With Alleged Dognapper

A pet store owner tried to fight off a brazen thief who ran off with a dog. It happened in Bell Gardens, California. The owner of Planet Pet confronted the suspect after she took the maltipoo out of its cage. Her son told KCBS that his mom confronted the woman outside the store, but she put up a fight that involved pepper spray. She ended up getting away with the dog.
