Biden Pays Tribute to Jimmy Carter

Plans are in place for Jimmy Carter's state funeral. He will lie in the Capitol Rotunda for three days with a funeral service to follow at the Washington National Cathedral in D.C. on January 9. It's the same honor afforded George H. W. Bush in 2018. The Bush funeral was the last time the nation's surviving presidents gathered to bid farewell to a commander-in-chief. The preparations come as President Biden took a jab at Donald Trump while he paid tribute to Carter.
