Stepfather Convicted of Child Abuse After Florida Restaurant Worker Steps In

A child’s stepfather has been found guilty of abuse, after a restaurant worker noticed possible trouble and called for help. Officials say Timothy Lee Wilson withheld food and water from his pre-teen stepson and forced him to do military-style exercises. These crimes may not have been discovered if it weren’t for Flaviane Carvalho, a manager at Mrs. Potato Restaurant. Timothy Lee Wilson was convicted on several counts of child abuse and neglect in a Central Florida court.
