Stranded Sailors Save Themselves By Writing Message in the Sand

S.O.S. is an internationally recognized signal for “help.” Three sailors who found themselves stranded on a secluded island in the Pacific used it to get themselves rescued, with the help of Australian officials. “I am proud of the response and professionalism of all on board as we fulfill our obligation to contribute to the safety of life at sea wherever we are in the world,” said Capt.
