Teen Entrepreneur’s Invention Inspired by Autistic Brother’s Needs
A young entrepreneur is drawing inspiration from his brother to help others. Jose Rodriguez is just 18 years old, but his company is helping to improve the lives of people with autism, like his brother Joel. Since they were kids, Jose watched Joel struggle with stress-related fidgeting. He later saw how much fidget spinners and toys helped Joel calm down, but Joel would often lose them. So Jose created a shirt with an attached fidget toy — and won a full ride to business school in the process.
