Tennessee’s Drag Ban Bill Is The 1st In the Country

Adult cabaret performances that can be seen by children in a public setting will soon be against the law in Tennessee. That includes drag performances. Republican Governor Bill Lee signed what’s now known as the drag ban bill, making it the first state with such a restriction in the country. “How is that going to help people’s lives who are thinking about the economy?” said White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
