Plane Wreck Discoveries

These planes were all discovered after disappearing. In 2021, the wreckage of TWA Flight 800 was put together after it crashed in New York 25 years before. In 2018, a melting glacier in Switzerland yielded a prize buried for over 70 years: a U.S. military plane from 1946.
