Parrots have proven to be trusty sidekicks and sometimes, they say the darndest things. A parrot named Bud may have witnessed his owner’s killing because he seems to be reenacting a conversation by repeating the words “don’t shoot.” Another parrot likes to turn the lights on in its house by talking to Alexa. A UPS driver called 911 thinking a person was in distress, only to learn it was a parrot calling out “help me” after being left home alone. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
