Wisconsin Man Gets Life in Prison for 1984 Cold Case Murder

It took 38 years to get justice for a murder victim in Wisconsin, but investigators say they were determined to see this case closed. In November 1984, Eleanor Roberts, 73, was found dead in the bathroom of her Saratoga home. Authorities say she had been beaten and stabbed, but their search for the killer seemed to go cold. So the Wood County Sheriff’s Office enlisted the help of other agencies. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
