Woman Airlifted From Her Flooded Home Following Hurricane Florence
September 17, 2018
Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian was trapped in the flooded city of Wilmington along with 60,000 beleaguered residents over the weekend after Hurricane Florence roared ashore nearby. With no power, Fabian toured the North Carolina hotel he was staying in using only a flashlight. The hotel was running on a generator. Dramatic rescues unfolded across the state all weekend. In one case, a sick woman was airlifted from her flooded home by the Coast Guard while her husband stayed behind.
