Woman Lucky to Be Alive After Collapsing on Flight to Dubai

Emily Jansson is lucky to be alive after surviving deadly blood clots on a flight. Jansson was on a 13-hour flight from Toronto to Dubai for a girls’ vacation. She remained seated during most of the long international flight. Ten hours into the flight, she got up to go to the bathroom and collapsed. When her flight landed in Dubai, she was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a massive saddle pulmonary embolism caused by blood clots.
