10-Year-Old Allegedly Steals SUV to Drive to His Mother

Authorities had received several 911 calls from concerned drivers saying a child was driving a car. Michigan State Police say a trooper followed a Buick Encore down Interstate 75 with sirens blaring and lights flashing for about a mile. OnStar, the auto security and navigation subscription service, was able to pinpoint the vehicle’s location for troopers and remotely disable the car. A police spokesperson said a 10-year-old stole the car.
