2-Year-Old Gets Puppy From Kind Stranger Weeks After Heart Transplant

Little Truett Palmer has a genetic disorder that caused him to be born with a heart defect. Even though he is only 2 years old, Truett has undergone multiple open heart surgeries and most recently received a heart transplant. During his latest hospital stay, Truett bonded with a therapy dog, so when he returned home from treatment, his mom Danielle wanted a dog for their family. As luck would have it, a kind stranger that stumbled upon their story decided to gift them one for free.
