Beloved 80-Year-Old Dog Walker Killed During Carjacking

Ruth Dalton was a devoted dog walker often seen handling multiple dogs at one time. Seattle police say the 80-year-old was killed after she struggled to protect the dogs in her car. They say the assailant tried to push her out of her vehicle and then mowed her down with her own car as he fled. Her banged-up vehicle was found a few miles away, along with the body of Dalton's dog. Neighbors are stunned that their treasured dog walker could meet such a violent end.
