Beloved Neighborhood Peacock Shot Dead in Possible Murder for Hire Plot: Cops

He was a majestic peacock, beloved by many in one neighborhood in California, but now people are calling for justice after the bird was found shot to death. The peacock was named Azul by one resident who says she was smitten by the friendly creature who wandered into her yard and played with her chickens. Some neighbors were concerned when they saw a Craigslist ad calling for Azul to be killed for “disrupting our lives.” The sheriff’s department is now investigating.
