Blue-Haired Dogs Are Treated After Being Found Near Russian Chemical Plant

Scientists in the Russian city of Nizhniy Novgorod would like to know why a number of dogs found near an old chemical plant have blue hair. Despite their unusual hue, vets say the dogs are healthy. They eat and drink as they should, and blood samples came back normal. The veterinary clinic where the dogs are staying is ordering more tests, including a toxicology report on their hair, to see if they can get to the bottom of the mystery.
