Bode Miller on Daughter’s Drowning: ‘It Happens in the Blink of an Eye’

Bode Miller and his wife, Morgan Beck, spoke out together for the first time about the drowning death of their 19-month-old daughter Emmy. “A child under 30 pounds can drown in 30 seconds, and I just keep counting to 30 in my head, that was all I needed,” Beck told the “Today” show. Emmy fell into the pool while she and her mom were visiting a neighbor earlier this summer. Morgan and Bode, who are expecting a child in October, spoke to Savannah Guthrie.
