Brazil President Bolsonaro Tests Positive for COVID-19 After Downplaying Virus

Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for COVID-19. Sometimes referred to as “the Trump of Brazil,” Bolsonaro has widely played down the risk posed by the coronavirus and has not practiced social distancing, even as Brazil’s COVID-19 death toll surpassed 66,000. Tom Hanks, another famous coronavirus patient, has now fully recovered, and said that taking precautions like wearing a mask “should be so simple.” Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has also tested positive for COVID-19.
