Cat-astrophe for Lawyer Stuck in Kitty Zoom Filter: ‘I’m Not a Cat’

We’ve all had some trouble adjusting to communicating via Zoom over the past year, but one Texas lawyer really stepped in the litter box when he got stuck in a filter while speaking to a judge during court proceedings. In the place of lawyer Rod Ponton a cute kitty with adorable big eyes appeared on the court call. “I’m here, live. I am not a cat,” Ponton pleaded to the judge and another lawyer on the call. Judge Roy Ferguson was very understanding of Ponton’s “faux-paw.”
