Chad Daybell Said Late Wife Not Part of His 'Plan,' Former Friend Says

Author Julie Rowe worked with Chad Daybell on several of her books from 2014 to 2019 and the two became friends. Now, Rowe is speaking out about her former friend after he and his fifth wife, Lori, have been thrust into the spotlight over their refusal to help find Lori's missing kids, according to authorities. Joshua "JJ" Valloq, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17, have been missing since Sept. 23. Rowe said something Chad told her in a phone call three weeks before his wife Tammy's death "haunted" her.
