Woman Dies After Being Swept Away by Flood Waters

As thousands of families struggle to deal with the aftermath of floods in the northeast, no one is suffering more heartbreak than a man who saw his daughter get swept away by floodwaters. Ed Nugent rescued his daughter's fiance but was unable to save his 42-year-old daughter, Pam, as she fled her home with her dog, Minnie. Nugent says Pam was trying to cross the street to the driveway. After taking two steps, she hit the water and went down.
