Cheryl Burke, one of the most beloved professional dancers on “Dancing With the Stars” broke down in tears as she recorded a video for social media telling her fans that she had tested positive for COVID-19. She says she’d been feeling “run down” and drove herself to get a COVID test at 7a.m. on Sunday, and got the results that afternoon. Her dance partner Cody Rigsby tested negative and will compete with a stand-in.
