    Did the Kennedy family try to put the kibosh on the new film ‘Chappaquiddick?’ The movie tells of the scandal that erupted after Sen. Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick, Mass. in 1969 that ended in the drowning of 28-year-old campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne. The film’s producer, Mark Ciardi, says the distributor, entertainment mogul Byron Allen, was pressured to keep the film out of theaters.
