Dog Reportedly Chained Outside for 12 Years Dies After Taking On Bucket List

Miss Willie the dog was kept chained outside in North Carolina for 12 long years, according to PETA. That is until, they say, one of their staff found Miss Willie too weak to stand and suffering from advanced heart worm disease. PETA says the dog's owner agreed to give her up, allowing her to embark on a bucket list adventure created by one of the group's members, complete with a pizza party and canoe ride.
