Drew Barrymore Pauses Talk Show Amid Writer's Strike

Drew Barrymore is pausing the launch of her talk show's new season in the wake of criticism over her decision to resume taping during the writer's strike. CBS Media Ventures, which produces "The Drew Barrymore Show," says in a statement “We support Drew’s decision to pause the show’s return and understand how complex and difficult this process has been for her.” Following Barrymore’s decision, other talk shows are making similar announcements to pause their production.
