E. Jean Carroll Testifies in Rape Civil Trial Against Trump

Former advice columnist E. Jean Carroll testified in the Donald Trump trial. Carroll claims  Trump sexually assaulted her in a changing room at Bergdorf Goodman, nearly three decades ago. As she took the stand, she told the courtroom “I am here because Trump raped me.” Trump calls Carroll's claim "a hoax" and "a complete scam." It comes as Trump has reportedly been urged by some advisors to consider his main rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, as his vice presidential running mate.
