85- and 82-Year-Old Protest Against Climate Change

A minister and a retired biology teacher say they had a good reason for trying to break into the Magna Carta. Rev. Sue Parfitt, 82, and 85-year-old Judy Bruce were arrested after police say they attacked a glass case inside London’s British Library. That case held a copy of what’s considered by some to be one of the founding documents of democracy. They’re members of Just Stop Oil, a group known for causing disturbances in order to bring attention to the climate crisis.
