‘Friends’ Inspired Nebraska Widow and Besties to Don Their Old Wedding Dresses

Katie Swantek is trying to make new memories in her wedding gown. Her husband, Brett, died suddenly in a tragic kayaking accident in May, leaving her to care for their 3-year-old son alone. So to feel happiness, instead of sadness, when looking at herself in her dress, she got her friends together for a special photo shoot. Katie said she got the idea from the 1998 "Friends" episode "The One With All the Weddings Dresses," in which Rachel, Monica and Phoebe bond while wearing wedding dresses.
