‘General Hospital’ Actor Shot Dead Protecting Friend

A beloved actor from "General Hospital" is being remembered as a hero after police say he was gunned down while shielding a female friend as thieves tried to steal his catalytic converter. Johnny Wactor was best known for his role as Brando Corbin on the popular soap opera. Early Saturday morning, the 37-year-old was shot dead after cops say he discovered his Toyota Prius placed on a car jack and he confronted the men surrounding his vehicle.
