Graffiti Artist Illegally Tagging Structures At University: 'This Is Like a Canvas to Me’
New York’s trendy SoHo neighborhood boasts some of the highest commercial rents in the world, but you might not know it judging by the amount of graffiti adorning storefronts. Small-business owner Joan Arata says her acupuncture studio has become a constant graffiti target, and that she’s seen a decline in business as a result. Not far from SoHo, Inside Edition ran into Matao Chumarro, spraying away on green construction walls. He said he wasn’t worried about getting cited by police.
