Guests Cuddle Turkeys at 'Gentle' Thanksgiving Celebration

Turkeys got a different treatment at this holiday celebration. Cuddling turkeys was part of the program at The Gentle Barn's 19th annual Thanksgiving event, where compassion is served instead of meat. Ellie Laks founded the organization, which serves as a sanctuary for abused and neglected animals, rehabilitating them to work with people who have also suffered trauma.
