One Injured in California House Explosion

He is in a hospital intensive care unit recovering from severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns, according to his family. Fire officials say the explosion happened in a permitted house, known as an accessory dwelling unit, in the backyard of another home. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
