Household Items Found at Pompeii Offer Glimpse of Daily Life

The city of Pompeii is revealing more and more secrets as archeologists continue to chip away at its long-buried core. Four new rooms were recently discovered in a house that used to be occupied by a middle class family, giving researchers a glimpse into the everyday lives of this lost society. They were found in what has been dubbed the Larario house, because it was beautifully decorated to honor the Roman guardian household deities the Lares.
