How Miss USA Cheslie Kryst Is Making History

The new Miss USA helped make history: the three winners of the major pageants are, for the first time, all black women. "It is really exciting, I can't believe it," Cheslie Kryst told Inside Edition of the history-making win. "I think it would be exciting as an onlooker but it is even more thrilling to be one-third of that trifecta." Kaliegh Garris is the current Miss Teen USA and Nia Franklin is Miss America. Kryst, a 28-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, is an attorney.
