How This Woman Became Determined to Quit Smoking
“For over three decades, I never exercised. My biggest workout was lifting a cigarette to my mouth," Rebecca said. She never thought she'd be lacing up running shoes and hitting the jogging path. At age 16, she started smoking cigarettes. By the time she was 33, she was smoking more than a pack a day. Around that time, she was diagnosed with depression. Now, Rebecca is determined to stop smoking and is a participant in the CDC’s ‘Tips From Former Smokers Campaign.’
