There was blood everywhere.” He also says he had an accomplice named "Charlie." Simpson was acquitted of the murders in a sensational 1995 trial, but recorded the "hypothetical" confession tapes 12 years ago to promote his book, “If I Did It.” He details how he would have committed the savage murders had he been responsible.
